Looking for ways to connect this month?
Operation Christmas Child
October 3rd - November 2nd
Our church will be supporting Operation Christmas Child (OCC) by filling shoeboxes to send to children around the world. We would love for you to join us by either filling a shoebox (and enclosing $10 for shipping) or sponsoring a shoebox for $10 and dropping them off at the church. All boxes are due by November 2nd.

Table of Eight
October 18 | 5:00pm
Table of Eight is a home fellowship for adults (single and married) to be held in various host homes. No more than eight people will be assigned per home. The host will be responsible for the entrée, and each couple/person will be assigned to bring a side dish, salad, vegetable, bread or dessert to share. More information and sign up at the Connect Corner.

Sewing and Quilting Group
October 21 | 10am - 2pm
Join us next Tuesday Oct. 21st from 10-2:00pm. We will meet in the cafe area to begin working on Christmas gifts for the home-bound in our fellowship.
Everyone is welcome to join in…no experience necessary, we love to help any who are interested in taking part. Bring your sewing machine (if you have one) and a potluck dish to share for lunch.

Ladies Book Club
Friday, October 24th | 10:00am
(Note: Original meeting date has changed)
The next book club meeting will be Friday, October 24th at 10:00am at the church. We'll be discussing the month's selection "Out to Canaan" by Jan Karon.
Out to Canaan is the fourth novel in the popular Mitford Years series. The story centers on the beloved Episcopal rector, Father Tim, as he contemplates retirement and faces significant changes in the small town of Mitford, including a contentious mayoral election, the potential closure of the Sweet Stuff Bakery, and the arrival of a suspicious real estate agent. The novel explores themes of change, community, and the enduring spirit of Mitford through its familiar and new characters.
Everyone is welcome to join in on reading this book with us, it can be found at our local libraries as well as many ebook outlets.
